Devereaux Lewis, LLC (“Devereaux Lewis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides private, individually contracted relationship-search and personal introduction services. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the general policies applicable to consultation requests and paid services.
Consultation Requests
There is no charge to submit a request for a private consultation through devereauxlewis.com unless expressly stated otherwise.
A consultation request does not obligate you to purchase services and does not create a client relationship.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Paid Services
Private relationship-search and personal introduction services are provided only after a prospective client enters into a separate written service agreement with Devereaux Lewis.Before payment is accepted, the applicable fees, payment schedule, scope of services, service period, cancellation provisions, and refund terms will be disclosed in the client service agreement.
Cancellation of Paid Services
A client's right to cancel paid services is governed by the cancellation provisions contained in the applicable signed client service agreement and by any rights provided under applicable law. If a client wishes to request cancellation, the client should contact Devereaux Lewis promptly using the customer-service information below.
Refunds
Fees paid for private relationship-search or personal introduction services are subject to the refund provisions contained in the applicable signed client service agreement. Because our services may involve individualized consultation, search preparation, candidate identification, recruiting, screening, outreach, research, and other work performed specifically for an individual client, fees are not automatically refundable merely because a client does not enter into a relationship or because a particular introduction does not result in a romantic connection. Nothing in this policy limits any refund, cancellation, or other consumer right required by applicable law.
No Guarantee of Relationship Outcome
Devereaux Lewis does not sell or guarantee a particular romantic outcome. We cannot guarantee that any introduction will result in attraction, additional dates, an exclusive relationship, engagement, marriage, or any other personal outcome. Cancellation and refund eligibility therefore are not determined solely by whether a particular introduction results in a relationship.
No Automatically Renewing Subscriptions
Devereaux Lewis does not offer automatically renewing dating subscriptions, free-to-paid trials, or recurring website memberships through devereauxlewis.com.Any payment obligation for private services will be disclosed in the applicable written service agreement before the client enters into the engagement.
